Coffee Harmony (Fruity, fresh floral, orange, bright acidity, pineapple & good structure)

GEMS204

Sanni Babu is a returning hero to the Gems of Araku auction. Year after year, his 2-acre farm in Gondhirapa village produces microlots that consistently rank among the best of the season.

Coffee flavour is the direct result of terroir and soil health, facilitated by the gradual ripening of cherries under a manicured shade. For Sanni Babu’s coffee farm, all three elements come together in perfect harmony. Covered with a layered canopy of 12+ varieties of fruit and forest trees providing ample shade to the growing coffee, the farm’s top soil is also carpeted with a natural mulch from these trees.

This year's produce is a testament to the farmer family’s obsession with excellence. With an impressive 3300 kgs of yield, the cherries are balanced, bursting with fruity notes of orange and pineapple and a bright acidity that is sure to please even the most discerning coffee connoisseurs.
